現任基石大學（Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan）校長，是廣受各國推崇的特會講員，著有：《Eternity》、《The Upside of Down》、《From the Front Lines》等書。他與「靈命日糧事工」（Our Daily Bread Ministries）也有配搭，協助媒體製作。
他的「Strength for the Journey」事工網站（getmorestrength.org）資源豐富，除了提供：每天靈修內容（Daily Devotionals）、每週證道信息（Weekly Messages），尚有視頻靈修（Video Devotionals）、查經材料等。
司徒喬博士亦擔任葛培理佈道協會（Billy Graham Evangelistic Association）的理事，在高等教育和教會領導上都有傑出的貢獻。他與妻子瑪蒂（Martie）育有三名子女，並有十名孫子女。
